Dubai: Beach and Marina

We stayed in Dubai Marina, which was a perfect place for us.  We could walk around the Marina, which had a fountain that Vera loved, and a park situated under a bridge.  The beach was a good 20 minute walk, which we figured out by the end: walk there with the stroller, and then take a taxi back.  The beach itself was surprisingly beautiful and clean, despite the skyscrapers in the background.  Who knew we'd love Dubai so much?  We're already booked for October Eid! :)

Children's City in Dubai

Dubai has tons of stuff for kids.  One rainy day we went to Children's City, and were practically the only people there!  It had loads of hands-on activities and even a donkey that Vera rode.  It was super fun to get out and do something with the kids, as our lives normally revolve around compound life.
