Dubai Aquarium and Lollipops

It was really, really fun to get out of the Kingdom.  After 8 months, we were due a break.  We did not expect to enjoy Dubai as much as we did, as it is fairly devoid of culture, just like everyone says.  The first few days of our trip were sandy, so we did the indoor/mall stuff, starting with the Dubai Aquarium.  Davy and Vera LOVED it, and it was a fabulous way to start off our week.

Davy's First Haircut

A few months ago Shannon decided it was time for Davy's first hair cut.  That's right--HE decided.  I was not on board, but did not seem to have the final say.  I shed some tears after all that soft baby hair covered the kitchen floor, and could not see anything but a little boy!  But--khalas!  He is growing up and becoming a little man after all.
